What’s happening?

How it works

In a Teams challenge, participants are grouped into teams and compete based on their total steps

Each team’s performance is calculated using the combined activity of all team members

How the leaderboard works

Teams are ranked based on their total or average steps

The leaderboard updates regularly as steps are synced

The team with the highest score ranks at the top

How scores are calculated

Team performance is calculated using:

Total team steps

= Sum of all steps recorded by team members

or

Average team steps

= Total team steps ÷ Number of team members

The method used depends on how the challenge is set up

What to know

• All team members contribute to the team score
• Sync your steps regularly to keep your team ranking updated
• Late syncing may delay leaderboard updates
