Group Goal Challenge in STEPPI Teams
Group Goal Challenge in STEPPI Teams
What’s happening?
How it works
In a Group Goal challenge, all participants work together to achieve a shared step target
Progress is based on the total combined steps of everyone in the challenge
How the leaderboard works
The leaderboard shows overall progress toward the group goal
Progress is usually displayed as a percentage of the total target
All participants contribute equally toward reaching the goal
How scores are calculated
Group progress is calculated using:
Total group steps
= Sum of all steps recorded by all participants
Progress (%)
= (Total group steps ÷ Group goal target) × 100
Example:
If the group goal is 1,000,000 steps
And participants reach 500,000 steps → Progress = 50%
What to know
- Every participant contributes to the group total
- There is no individual ranking in this challenge type
- Sync your steps regularly to help the group progress
- The goal is collective achievement, not competition
