# Create an account & join your organization

# Create an account & join your organisation

## What’s happening?

| You want to create your STEPPI Teams account and join your organisation so you can participate in company challenges

## What you need before you start

* The **STEPPI Teams app** is installed  
* Access to your registered email address  
* An active internet or data connection  

---

## How to get started

1. Open the **STEPPI Teams app**  
2. Select your preferred language  

* If you are a new user, tap **Sign up**  
* If you already have an account, tap **Log in**

## Join your organization

* Enter your 6-digit organisation code   

This code is unique to your organisation and will be provided by your company administrator 

---

## New users: Create your account

Tap **Sign up**  

On the **Complete your profile** screen:

1. Enter your name  
2. Select your gender  
3. Add your date of birth  

* Choose a profile name and add a profile photo (optional)  
* Enter your email address and create a password  
* Your password must be at least 8 characters long  
* Enter the verification code sent to your email  

**Your name and photo will appear on leaderboards and the social feed  *

## Existing users: Log in

* Tap **Log in**  
* Enter your registered email address and password

# Troubleshooting account setup

## Not receiving the verification code (OTP)

---

## What’s happening?

| You are trying to sign up or log in, but you have not received the verification code
  

---

## Why this happens

This may happen if:

* The email address was entered incorrectly  
* The email is in your spam or junk folder  
* There is a delay from your email provider  
* Your internet connection is unstable  

---

## How to fix it

* Check your email address is correct  
* Check your spam or junk folder  

Wait a few minutes  

Tap **Resend code**  

Make sure you are connected to the internet

## Trouble setting your password

---

## What’s happening?

| You are unable to set a password or it is not being accepted  

---

## Why this happens

This may happen if:

* Your password does not meet the requirements  
* The passwords do not match  

---

## How to fix it

* Make sure your password is at least 8 characters  
* Make sure both password fields match  
* Avoid extra spaces  
* Try a stronger password

## Error when entering organization code

## What’s happening?

| You are trying to join your organization but receive an error  

---

## Why this happens

This may happen if:

* The code was entered incorrectly

---

## How to fix it

* Check the code carefully (no spaces or mistakes)  
* Confirm the code with your organization  
* Close and reopen the app, then try again  

---

## If it still doesn’t work

* Make sure you are using the latest version of STEPPI Teams  
* Try again after a few minutes
